The locked ward, often referred to as the mental health ward, accommodates individuals grappling with a range of conditions including split personality disorder, Messiah Complex, Frankenstein Syndrome, hero complex, bipolar disorder, masochism, drug dependence, schizoaffective disorder, and suicidal tendencies. Unfortunately, the resources allocated to mental health care are severely underfunded, which exacerbates the challenges faced by both patients and staff. The administrator, who appears to be influenced by the Dunning-Kruger effect, prioritizes meeting financial targets over comprehending the complexities of mental health care. In the midst of this, a nurse is left to manage patient care with minimal support, equipped only with a clipboard and a hammer, highlighting the dire need for better funding and resources in mental health services.
